In this reflection for the Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time, Colin MacIver shows us that the readings give us a glimpse of the great mystery of the Trinity in the family.
Jesus is drawing us back to what he came to restore, which is the goodness of the family, the goodness of what it is to be created, male and female in the likeness and the image of God in a way that’s irrevocable, in a way that reflects God’s love.
