In this reflection for the Thirty-First Sunday in Ordinary Time, Colin MacIver reminds us that if we love God first, and above all, everything else falls into place.
While it might seem like everyone likes to tell us what we can’t do, and which rules to follow, Jesus makes it a point in the Gospel that our first aim should be to love God with all our mind, heart, soul, and strength. Doing that puts everything else into perspective and makes all of the complicated stuff fall into place.
